Caiman mask. This mask is 8.5" x 6" and is made of very light wood.
Caiman Mexican Mask
The caiman (alligator), was once found in many river in Mexico, this type of mask was found in the Nahua small towns along the Balsa River (Ostotitlan, El Mirador, Zimatil and Guajitlotla), in the State of Guerrero. The spines of the Pochote tree (Ceiba), have often been used in the making of this masks.
